Exmoor National Park, located in Southwest England, is a diverse upland landscape shaped by moorland, wooded valleys, rivers, and a rugged coastline. The park supports a range of habitats, including heathland and ancient woodland, and is known for species such as red deer, Exmoor ponies, and numerous bird and insect populations. Its combination of open high ground and enclosed valleys reflects long- term interactions between natural processes and land use.
