Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, located in western Wales, is a protected coastal landscape in western Wales characterised by cliffs, sandy beaches, and wooded estuaries. The park encompasses a range of interconnected terrestrial and marine habitats and supports high biodiversity. Notable species include grey seals, bottlenose dolphins, several bat species, and a wide variety of resident and migratory birds. As the only UK national park defined primarily by its coastline, it represents a dynamic environment shaped by ongoing natural processes.
